MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND 2026 will bring the motorcycle industry to the Dortmund Exhibition Center from March 5 to 8, 2026. In five halls, around 300 exhibitors and approximately 25 motorcycle brands will showcase new products, accessories, and technology. Dortmund is the public trade show for end consumers at the start of the season: Here, visitors don’t just look—they compare, get advice, and test ride. New highlights include Hall 6 as a standalone component of the trade show concept, featuring a TEST & RIDE AREA, as well as the newly designed Hall 3 with a Main Stage and RACING AREA. Show premieres such as the CIRCUS TRIAL TOUR x DUST MOTO SHOW and community events like the “Bike Woman of the Year” Award round out the program.

Dortmund, March 3, 2026 – For many, March is the time when the motorcycle season really starts to pick up. For 40 years, MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND has been an established gathering place for the community and the industry, coinciding precisely with this start-of-season window. In 2026, the trade show will underscore this reputation with five exhibition halls, around 300 exhibitors, and approximately 25 two-wheeler brands. This concentration of two-wheelers provides a clear overview and makes direct comparisons at the start of the season particularly easy. In addition to the latest models and innovations—ranging from scooters to motorcycles—there will be a comprehensive selection of accessories, tire expertise, apparel, and helmets, as well as components, technical solutions, and services for all things motorcycle-related.

Five exhibition halls, more experience: Growth driven by high demand
Strong demand for exhibition space will lead to a significant expansion of MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND in 2026. The addition of a new exhibition hall will not only enhance the event experience but also increase the exhibition space for brands, models, accessories, and technology. For visitors, this means even more new products, more live events, and additional hands-on activities. Direct brand comparisons will be featured, along with show and test formats that will significantly enhance the trade fair experience and will be the central focus of the new Hall 6.

New for 2026: Hall 6 with TEST & RIDE AREA and KIDS PARCOURS
A key highlight is the new Hall 6, which is being integrated into the trade show concept for the first time as a standalone experience zone. The centerpiece is the TEST & RIDE AREA, an organized test track on the fairgrounds where bikes can be tested right on site. With this, MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND is creating a format that currently does not exist in this form at any other German motorcycle trade shows. Within the area, motorcycle brands will each provide two current models; Suzuki, KTM, Honda, Harley-Davidson, and Zontes will be participating. A total of twelve current models will be available on all four days of the show. Each test ride lasts about 15 minutes and allows participants to directly experience the riding feel, performance, and technical innovations. Online registration for the test rides is available at zweiradmessen.de.

In addition, a KIDS PARCOURS for children ages 6 and up will be set up for the first time within the TEST & RIDE AREA. This initiative is being organized in collaboration with Motorradtraining-mental, Motorrad Mädels Deutschland, and KTM, and will be supervised by experienced, trained staff. A new food court in Hall 6 will serve as a gathering spot for socializing, taking a break, and discussing all things motorcycle.

MAIN STAGE, brand-new RACING AREA, spectacular custom bikes
The newly redesigned Hall 3 will also add a special touch in 2026 and highlight the brand diversity of MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND. Brands represented in the hall include Triumph, BRABUS, Ducati, KTM, BENDA, CFMOTO, Benelli, VOGE, Zontes, Peugeot Motocycles, UltraViolette, Stark Future, Royal Enfield, and NIU. The lineup is rounded out by leading names in the helmet, tire, and components sectors, such as Schuberth, HJC, LS2, Continental, and Ilmberger Carbon.

A central highlight in Hall 3 is the MAIN STAGE (powered by MOTORRAD), which offers a varied program featuring topics, talks, premieres, and product highlights throughout the entire event. Brands such as BMW, HONDA, SW-MOTECH, Kawasaki, and Triumph will also be showcasing their latest highlights and new products on stage once again: zweiradmessen.de/programm-dortmund

Another brand-new feature is the RACING AREA, a digital racing experience developed in collaboration with “Moto Trainer.” This isn’t about riding solo—it’s about a shared racing experience: Participants compete against each other on the latest bikes from selected brands and race in groups of up to five other riders. This brings racing to life as a community experience, complete with direct comparisons and an awards ceremony for the fastest riders.

The REVIERBIKE SPECIAL SHOW (Hall 3 / Booth 3.C08) also promises to deliver striking visuals. Under the motto “Stock bikes are a given. We can do so much more,” the show will once again feature around 25 selected custom builds in 2026—regardless of brand, model, or year of manufacture—embodying individuality and craftsmanship. For the first time this year, elaborately customized mopeds, scooters, and motorized bicycles are also part of the presentation, expanding the scope of the custom scene.

Program highlight with premiere: Circus Trial Tour x DUST MOTO SHOW
For additional show moments, a program highlight premiering in Dortmund will be featured: The CIRCUS TRIAL TOUR brings a new live format to MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND with the DUST MOTO SHOW . Several times a day, it will noticeably intensify the trade fair atmosphere with spectacular motorcycle stunts, striking visuals, and action. The program is complemented by a BMX flatland performance by Adam Kun.

Program across multiple STAGES: Travel, Adventure, Community, and Workshops
In 2026, the trade show program will be organized across various formats and locations. There will be a special focus on travel, tourism, and adventure as central themes for many motorcyclists. The former Travel Stage will be rebranded as the ADVENTURE & TRAVEL STAGE in Hall 2 and will serve as a meeting place for everyone who wants more than just the next ride. Experienced tour operators and bikers will take the audience on tours from the North Cape to Mongolia, inspiring wanderlust with authentic stories, impressive images, and personal experiences. Powered by Abenteuer Motorrad and TOUREN FAHRER , the stage brings together travel know-how, tour ideas, and community interaction. The program is complemented by the MAIN STAGE in Hall 3 as well as workshops, including those at Booth 3.E18 in Hall 3.

HIDDEN CHAMPIONS, Rare Technology, Underrated Icons
PS.SPEICHER, Europe’s largest classic car and interactive museum, is presenting a special selection of rare motorcycles spanning several decades at MOTORRÄDER DORTMUND. On display are machines that were technically ahead of their time but were underestimated on the market and are now considered true hidden champions of motorcycle history. The high-quality exhibition (Hall 3, Booth 3.E35) ranges from extraordinary concepts to models with fascinating backstories and tells the story of bold ideas, missed opportunities, and fascinating technology. It makes it clear that it’s not just the legends that shape the motorcycle world—it’s often the underrated models that truly inspire.

Bike Woman of the Year: An Award for Power Women in the Motorcycle Industry
The trade show is once again sending a strong message to the community in 2026 with the “Bike Woman of the Year” award. bike & business is presenting the award for the ninth time. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Dortmund. The focus is on women who are active in the motorized two-wheeler industry and/or volunteer in clubs, associations, or initiatives.
